Introductory Workshops with Ed Halliwell in Central London, WC1.

Our one-day workshops introduce participants to the key principles of living mindfully, offering some basic practices to help cultivate mindfulness in daily life. As well as an experiential introduction to each of the core practices taught on the eight-week MBSR course, we explore where mindfulness comes from, as well as some of the latest scientific evidence for its effectiveness. Participants are also pointed to ways they can begin to develop their own practice. These workshops offer an opportunity for those curious about mindfulness or considering an eight-week MBSR course to find out more.

Here are some testimonials from introductory workshops Ed has taught:

Rich in both material and experience. Well balanced and paced.

Supportive, encouraging, enlightening.

I was hugely impressed with this workshop

Ed is a natural teacher - not only is his delivery clear and concise but he is a patient listener with a talent for encouraging participation in a non-judgmental way.

Enjoyable, educational and brilliant!

Excellent. Inclusive and practical.

Very surprised at how good it was from start to finish.

Ed was an excellent teacher. He focused directly on individual questions yet gave the answer back to the group. I felt that I was very much part of a unique workshop that grew organically thoughout the day to suit everyone in the group but at the same time the group as a whole.
